My word of the year is… Believe

My word of the year is… Believe from when my daughter was killed, and I had to figure out how to move forward without her. By believing in God I was able to do this and through him I know have Charlie.

Through the past two years of Bullying and Charlie trying to take his own life, I have told him repeatedly that things would get more comfortable if he would just believe. I always remind Charlie that he isn’t stupid and just to put one foot in front of the other and never to give up.

I have been telling both David this year as we have been struggling in so many ways. I hear myself saying myself over and over to take a deep breath and breathe as things will get better if we just believe.

We are approaching 2018, and I knew that I wanted to go back to 2016 when my word of the year believe. Believe is what it closet to my heart and means the most to my family. Even though I had chosen soar as my word of the year last year, I never felt entirely sure it was the right word for us.
After Praying and discussing things with my family and talking about Faith and Fully Relying on God, I could feel the stress melting away. As I told David we just need to believe 2018 would be a better year.
