Just two day’s until Christmas

Are you as excited as I am? I can’t wait to give Charlie and David all there Gifts. As well as celebrate the Birth of Jesus. As I was sitting her this morning I remember something my friend Debbie shared with me a couple weeks ago. We all know Jesus is the reason for the Season. So they celebrate his Birthday on Christmas and make a cake for him.

This isn’t’ something I had ever thought of doing although it makes perfect sense. I just wish she had shared it with me when Suzzane was younger. Although, it is never to late to start new traditions so this year it will be just Charlie and I until David get off. So, I think Charlie and I will make a Birthday Cake for Jesus and watch Christmas movies tomorrow.

As well as share how we felt this year went compared to years past and what expectations we have for next year. Charlie and I will be putting out dinner tomorrow afternoon and there will be minimal cooking in our home and no, electronics after 2 as we will be spending the evening watching movies or playing games and just enjoying each others company.

I don’t think anyone will be coming over this year as my sister is spending Christmas with her family and my father and brother opted not to come down this year. Which is fine with me as it gives Charlie and I time together. I just wish I had set aside a special Gift for Charlie to open tomorrow morning as I had meant to get him a new Bible. But it’s okay that I didn’t get it as it means Charlie and I can go pick one out together after Christmas.
