Sadness Comes With Relief Sometimes
Sadness comes with relief sometimes as I woke up this morning I had thought I would have at least part of the day with my dad. if not all of today and some of tomorrow. But that wasn’t God’s will as my brother arrived at 7 am and wanted to get back on the road.
So they left before 8 o’clock and just now texted me to let me know they arrived home safely. Which I am so happy about as it is raining cats and dogs here and I would have hated knowing they was traveling in it.
But also sad as I sit here and wonder if this will be the last time I ever see my dad alive. As our car will not make it to his home and I just am not sure my brother will bring my dad back.
So today as I sit her with my heart breaking into and missing both my mom and dad Please pray for me that it gets easier. As I really really miss my daddy right now. Especially since I didn’t get to give him a hug or tell him “I LOVED HIM:.
