I’ve always believed that a good pair of shoes should look nice, feel comfortable, and make it easier to get through the day. When I received my hot pink Allswift sneakers, I was excited to try them because, let’s face it, sometimes a little color is just what an outfit needs!
One thing I want to mention right away is the sizing. I normally wear somewhere between a size 7 and an 8, but I decided to order an 8½. My feet sometimes swell, so I wanted a little extra room. I’m glad I did because they fit perfectly! They don’t slide up and down when I walk, and they feel secure on my feet.
The shoes have a fabric upper with plenty of little openings that allow air to move through. I like that they feel breathable rather than heavy. The different shades of pink give them some personality, and the orange details add a fun touch. Even the little Allswift tag on the laces stands out.
The laces are another detail I appreciate. I usually lean toward slip-on shoes because bending down to tie shoes isn’t always easy for me. However, I do like how a properly tied pair of sneakers holds around my ankle. These have a little detail that helps keep the laces straight, and once they’re tied, the shoes stay where they’re supposed to.
The soles are white with pink and orange accents. They aren’t overly tall, which I appreciate. There is also a pull tab at the heel that makes getting them on and off easier.
I’ve also found them easy to clean. And when I’ve worn them in the rain, I haven’t had trouble with my feet sliding around inside them. I’m not calling them waterproof, but I do appreciate how they have felt when I’ve been out wearing them. I can picture my stepdaughter Leslie enjoying a pair of these, and I know my late daughter Suzzane would have loved the hot pink color, too. Sometimes a pair of shoes reminds you of the people you love, and these certainly brought those memories to mind.

I’m happy with how these Allswift sneakers fit and feel. I appreciate having a pair of shoes that brings a little color into my day without sacrificing the secure fit I want when I’m walking around.
