In our little part of heaven, North Richland Hills, Texas, we’re blessed to have so many wonderful little towns surrounding us, along with bigger cities like Dallas and Fort Worth (DFW). I’m #TeamFortWorth, not #TeamDallas! ❤️
As David and I get out and about, explore our community, and meet new people, we keep discovering wonderful folks, small businesses, and places that deserve a little extra love and attention. That’s why we wanted to create a special spot right here on Greatful Moments for our DFW friends.
This is where we’ll introduce you to the people and businesses we meet along the way, share their stories, and help you discover some of the wonderful things happening right here in our own backyard.
Whether it’s a small-business owner with a dream, a local shop with something special to offer, a family-friendly experience, or someone doing good things in our community, we want to help spread the word.
After all, we’re all neighbors here, and there’s something special about supporting the people who make our corner of Texas feel like home.
So pull up a chair, get comfortable, and join us as we introduce you to our DFW Friends I Share My Front Porch With. We’re grateful, thankful, and blessed to have them as part of our story!
Meet Southern Charm Farmhouse

We’re happy to introduce you to Cheryl and Caitlyn, the mother-daughter team behind Southern Charm Farmhouse, a small business right here in Grapevine, Texas.
Since 2021, they’ve been hand-pouring candles in small batches and creating home fragrances designed to make a house smell like home. Their collection also includes room sprays, car fragrances, seasonal gifts, and fun T-shirts.
We’ve enjoyed getting to know Cheryl and Caitlyn, sharing their products with our readers, and discovering the heart behind their family business. From seasonal candles to fun Halloween finds and Christmas gift ideas, we’re excited to see what other wonderful things we’ll discover together!
If you enjoy supporting small Texas businesses, take a moment to visit their online shop and see what they’re creating.
