Life as I’ve said over and over can be not only fun but unpredictable especially when working on our Holiday Gift Guides. When I started thinking about what categories I wanted to include in our Christmas Gift Guide Wish List this year, I knew I wanted to find something special for the little girls in my family which meant we needed a Gift Guide for Little Girls.
Then I went on about my work because I knew the LORD knew my needs before I did. When Dream Pairs reached out to me and said they had children’s boots I couldn’t wait to check then out. While I was looking I came across these pink cowboy boots from Dream Pairs, they made me think of Suzzane and how she would have wanted a pair and that got me to thinking they would make the perfect Christmas gift for just about every little girl on my list!
The boots are priced at $38.99, which makes them an option to consider when Santa is trying to find something fun without spending a fortune on every gift. And living here in Texas, I can tell you that cowboy boots aren’t just for Christmas. The Fort Worth Stock Show will be here before we know it, and a good pair of boots can be worn throughout the year.
These Dream Pairs children’s Western boots caught my attention because of their pink tops, brown bottoms, and unusual stitched pattern. The design almost reminds me of wings, although it isn’t exactly wings. The stitching has a raised texture that you can feel when you run your hand across it, giving the boots a distinctive look. I like that they look different from other cowboy boots I’ve seen, and I can imagine a little girl having fun picking out outfits to wear with them.
According to the product description, these are mid-calf Western boots with a slip-on design to make them easier for children to put on and take off independently. They also feature a non-slip outsole. The manufacturer suggests wearing them for occasions such as county fairs, carnival rides, and barn dances. Of course, parents will want to check the sizing and fit before ordering.
I’m helping Santa load the sleigh this year, and I think these boots belong on the Christmas wish list for the little cowgirls I know. The only problem is deciding which niece should get a pair and why! I have plenty of nieces who I think would love them, and choosing which one gets what can sometimes be the hardest part of Christmas shopping.
Although Suzanne is no longer here with us, I still think about the girls in our family and the things that would make them smile. I know I have nieces who would enjoy these boots, and it makes me happy to think about finding gifts that fit their personalities. Christmas is about more than opening presents. It’s also about remembering the people we love and making memories with the family we have here.
There is another funny family connection, too. My sister wears a children’s size boot! These pink and brown cowboy boots might be intended as a gift for one of my nieces, but I can just picture my sister seeing them and deciding she could wear them with her dress-up clothes. I could even see her wearing them to church on Sunday mornings.
And if these boots fit my feet, you can bet your bottom dollar I’d want a pair myself! With that pink color, I can imagine Suzanne thinking they would be just the thing for Mom. Charlie might even ask about them because pink is one of his favorite colors. Of course, he’s a boy and may not wear cowboy boots like these now, but when he was little, he had no qualms about borrowing Mom’s things. Those are the little family memories that make a product like this even more fun to talk about.
What I like most about the idea of gifting cowboy boots is that they aren’t something a child has to put away after the holidays. Here in Texas, boots can be worn in every season. A little girl could wear them with a favorite outfit, dress up for a family gathering, or get ready for the Fort Worth Stock Show. You don’t have to wait for cold weather to enjoy a pair of Western boots.
I haven’t personally worn or tested these Dream Pairs boots, so this is a Christmas gift guide wish-list feature based on the product information and the design that caught my eye. But at $38.99, they certainly caught my attention as a possible gift for the little cowgirls in our family. Now I just have to decide which niece should receive a pair—and whether Santa might need to bring more than one!
