Why I’m Sharing: When an organization works to help families facing some of life’s hardest challenges, I believe its story deserves to be shared. Miracles for Kids provides financial assistance, housing, basic necessities, wellness support, and long-term stability to families caring for children with life-threatening illnesses.According to a press release from Miracles for Kids dated October 9, 2026, GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, songwriter, and actress Ashanti will headline the sold-out Night of Miracles Gala on Saturday, October 17, at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club in California.

This year’s theme, “The Miracle of Tomorrow,” is a reminder that families facing a child’s critical illness need more than hope. They also need help with everyday expenses, housing, basic necessities, and the emotional challenges that come with caring for a seriously ill child.

An Evening of Music, Entertainment, and Giving– Ashanti will close the evening with a special 30-minute performance featuring some of her best-known hits. The multiplatinum artist’s self-titled debut album reached No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and R&B album charts. She has received eight Billboard Awards, two American Music Awards, and two Soul Train Awards, and has sold more than 30 million albums.

Opening the gala will be vocalist Carolina Rial, who has toured with Andrea Bocelli during his 30th anniversary shows and competed on The Voice as a member of John Legend’s team.

Actor, producer, radio personality, and podcaster Manny “Streetz” Guevara of iHeartRadio’s 104.3 MYFM in Los Angeles will return as the evening’s emcee.

Nearly 500 guests are expected to attend the sold-out event, which will also celebrate the resilience of a Miracle Family and honor entrepreneur and philanthropist Quy “Q” Nguyen, founder and CEO of Allyance Communications. He will receive the 2026 Miracle Maker recognition for his 17 years of support for the organization.

Helping Families Find Stability-For families caring for a critically ill child, medical challenges can quickly become financial challenges, too. Bills still need to be paid, families need a place to live, and caregivers need support while concentrating on their children’s needs.

Miracles for Kids provides assistance through five core programs focused on bill payments, housing, wellness, basic needs, and long-term stability. The organization’s 2025 figures show that 82 cents of every dollar collected went toward programs directly benefiting the families it serves. Last year’s Night of Miracles Gala, themed Miracles in Monaco and headlined by Jordin Sparks, raised nearly $3.5 million for the nonprofit.

Auctions and Opportunities to Give– Guests attending this year’s gala will enjoy fine dining, inspiring stories, and live and silent auctions featuring luxury travel, dining, entertainment, jewelry, and lifestyle experiences.

The silent auction is scheduled to open online on Tuesday, October 13. The event will also feature a drawing offering guests a chance to win a $45,000 necklace from Happy Jewelers. The 2026 gala is presented by Sequel Brands, with lead sponsors AsOneCru, Happy Jewelers, and David August, alongside more than 45 additional sponsors.
