You’re Never Too Old for Halloween Fun at Chuck E. Cheese

When Suzzane and my nephew David M. was growing up we went to Chuck E. Cheese all the time and David M. even had one of his Birthday parties here. Then fast forward and I would take Charlie and his friends when they were little. Now, I like to take my niece Jason and Lily here to play sometimes.

One thing I don’t remember about Chuck E. Cheese is when Charlie and Suzanne were little, I don’t remember Chuck E. Cheese doing Halloween events like this. And honestly, I wish they had. Back then, trick-or-treating from house to house was simply part of Halloween. We dressed the kids up, grabbed our bags, and headed out into the neighborhood. There was something fun about walking from house to house and seeing everyone’s costumes.

But times have changed. Today, I find myself looking for ways our family can still enjoy Halloween while having a little more peace of mind. I love the idea of finding a place where children can still be children, have fun, collect some candy, play games, and celebrate Halloween — all in one place.

That’s why I was grateful to find out that Chuck E. Cheese is celebrating Halloween this year with its Boo-tacular! Where Chuck E. Cheese is bringing Halloween fun to its locations throughout October with special food, games, entertainment, and Halloween activities.

And when I saw what they were planning, I immediately thought about our own family. Charlie may be 19 now, but that doesn’t mean he has completely outgrown having fun. And I’m certainly not too old! Give me some pizza, a salad bar, some games, Halloween fun, and the opportunity to collect a little candy, and I’m ready to go.

In fact, I think sometimes the grown-ups need a little Halloween fun just as much as the kids do. One thing I appreciate about a venue like Chuck E. Cheese is that it gives families another option for celebrating Halloween. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with traditional trick-or-treating. When Charlie and Suzanne were young, it was something we looked forward to. There are wonderful memories attached to those nights.

But today, parents may be looking for alternatives — especially families who would rather spend Halloween together at a familiar venue where the kids can enjoy activities, food, games, and entertainment. That’s what caught my attention about the Boo-tacular. It’s still Halloween. It’s still fun. And the kids can still dress up and enjoy being kids.

Now, I know why I’m talking about taking a 19-year-old to Chuck E. Cheese and its because 19 doesn’t mean you suddenly stop having fun. Our children grow up way too fast. One minute you’re helping them pick out a Halloween costume, and the next thing you know they’re 19 years old.

That doesn’t mean you can’t make new memories. Maybe the experience looks a little different now. Maybe we’re not there for the exact same reasons we were when the kids were little. But we can still play games. We can still laugh. We can still eat pizza. And yes, I can still collect candy! Plus,. we can celebrate both mine and Charlie’s Birthday in a fun and unique way.

Now, I have a question for you. Would You Like to Join Me on Halloween Night? That’s what I’m thinking about this year. Instead of thinking that Halloween fun ends when your children get older, why not find a way to celebrate together? Whether you have little ones, teenagers, young adults, or you’re simply a grown-up who still loves Halloween, there is nothing wrong with finding a place where you can let loose and have some fun.

And if I’m going to be completely honest, I’m looking forward to the pizza and salad bar, too. So, would you like to join me on Halloween night? I’m ready to put on a little Halloween spirit, play some games, collect some candy, and make another family memory. Because you’re never too old for Halloween. And you’re definitely never too old to have a little fun at Chuck E. Cheese

Chuck E. Cheese Halloween Boo-tacular includes special Halloween food, treats, entertainment, games, costumes, and other Halloween surprises throughout October. You can check out the Halloween celebration and find your local Chuck E. Cheese location before making your Halloween plans.

Greatful Moments Halloween Gift Bag Idea:– Sometimes the best thing you can put in a gift bag isn’t something that comes in a box. It’s an experience. A family outing to Chuck E. Cheese could be a fun way to give someone something to look forward to — especially when Halloween is about making memories together. And that’s something I think we could all use a little more of.

Grateful, Thankful, and Blessed — and still having fun!
