Well, Buttercup… We’re Back… But let me tell you if I had knew how many problems we was going to have when we decided to move TheMommiesReviews.com I would have hidden under the covers and said no, no, way no, how.

But I didn’t and this why I am here again Buttercup… and it has been a rough few weeks, not only for me but my family who has had to listen to me gripping and poor Renee who was dealing with the back-end of the site but here I am.

Back again. Because you cannot take me out kicking and screaming, no matter what anybody does to me. Although, more times than not I wanted to throw in the towel but Renee wouldn’t let me.

She said she was going to push, fight, argue, pull teeth, and keep knocking on that door until somebody finally sees what the heck is going on. Let me tell you after many sleepless nights she did that and so much more.

My family can never thank her enough for all she did. And I would like to ask you to help me thank God for both him and Renee because thanks to them the creek didn’t rise — and the site is back.

I don’t know exactly what Renee did, and honestly, at this point, I’m not even sure I want to know all the details. But after many, many conversations, a whole lot of frustration, and yes, I’ll even admit to using some not-so-choice cussing words, she got the site back up.

And I am beyond grateful. Thankful. And blessed. Because here’s the thing: when something you’ve spent years building suddenly isn’t there, it isn’t just a website. It’s your work. It’s your memories. It’s your stories.

It’s the things you’ve written, the things you’ve shared, the people you’ve connected with, and all the little pieces of your life that you’ve poured into that space. For a while there, I wasn’t sure what was going to happen.

But even though I thought about giving up Renee wasn’t giving up. Even though it was my site not hers. That is not only a friend but she is more family than my biological family is and Charlie and David feel the same way.

Nope, Renee would say you are going to have to drag me out of here. And even then, I’m probably going to argue with you all the way out the door. But today, I’m back. Thanks to the Good Lord, the supervisor and Renee for not giving up on the site.

And if you have ever had someone stand beside you when things were going sideways — someone who kept working on the problem when you were ready to pull your hair out — then you know exactly what I’m talking about.

So today, I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Renee. If somebody has stood beside your back the way Renee has stood beside mine and my family, you don’t just give them a pat on the back.

You give them about fifty hugs and fifty thank-yous. Because without Renee, we wouldn’t be here today. So let’s all tip our hats to her. And Renee, if you’re reading this: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You helped get our little corner of the internet back.

And Buttercup? We’re not wasting another minute. I’ve got a whole lot of catching up to do. The holidays are coming. The reviews are waiting. The stories are waiting. The recipes are waiting. The family adventures are waiting. And I’ve got plenty to say.

So grab yourself a cup of coffee I’m going to get a glass of Sweet Tea, then we can pull up a chair, and come sit a spell because I have some stories to share and first and foremost GreatfulMoments.com is back. And Lord willing and the creek don’t rise… we’re just getting started.
