ALO 100% Mango Juice with Real Mango Pulp: A Taste of the Tropics

David and Charlie have been complaining there thirsty and we never have anything to drink inside our home which I agree with at times. When I go grocery shopping and ask them what they want and they don’t tell me what they would like then this is there problem.

This week though I was lucky to have 2 new beverages for them to try out ALO juices—who sent me Mango 100% Juice and Pineapple 100% Juice . I wasn’t sure Charlie would try either but I knew Davd would want to try the Pineapple juice because he loves anything with Pineapple in it.

I love discovering a juice that feels a little different from the ordinary, and the ALO 100% Mango Juice definitely caught my attention. As well as

I love discovering a juice that feels a little different from the ordinary, and the ALO 100% Mango Juice definitely caught my attention. As well as David’s and Granny Sherry’s attention as well.

This is a 10.8-fluid-ounce can of 100% mango juice with real mango pulp, and it is not from concentrate. The can recommends serving it chilled and reminds you to shake well because the real mango pulp settles.

ALO describes this juice as being made with fresh, ripe mangoes and real bits of mango pulp, with the sweet tropical flavor of mango in every sip. I love that it isn’t just mango-flavored—it actually contains real mango pulp.

The can also says the mango juice is 100% natural with no added sugars, preservatives, or artificial colors. It will stay good in the Icebox opened for 2 days but that didn’t happen in my house as soon as Charlie opened it and David and him tried it they liked it.

Before I knew it it was gone. I didn’t even get to taste it and neither did Granny. David and Charlie even said the pulp didn’t bother them which none of us like when purchasing juices. Charlie said he would like to have more of this to replace the Soda’s he drinks to take in his lunch for work and David said he would like to keep it in our home for something new to drink.

The can brings us one serving per can, with 120 calories. It has zero fat, zero saturated fat, and zero cholesterol. The can lists 32 grams of carbohydrates and 32 grams of total sugars, so that’s something I would keep in mind when enjoying this as a single serving.

I also appreciate that ALO provides information about the product’s origin. This juice is a product of Vietnam which surprised my family and is distributed by SPI West Corp. in South San Francisco, California.

There is also a best-by date printed on the can. Which is a Godsend in our home because things can get put in the Icebox and pushed to the back of the shelf and we end up forgetting there in there but we would know if the beverage was good when we find it when we clean out the Ice Box.

One of the things I really like about this juice is the simplicity of the idea: 100% mango juice, real mango pulp, not from concentrate, and no added sugar. That’s a tropical treat I can get excited about!

If you enjoy mango, this is definitely one I would put on your list to try chilled. My sister can have this as well because it is Gluten Free since she has to have a Gluten Free diet and she would like knowing it has Vitamin C because her family is always ending up sick and this would be a healthy drink for her and the kids.
