Taco Tuesday: Will Crunchy Fluff Tacos Become Our Family’s New Favorite?

I don’t know about your family but in mine when it comes to #TacoTuesday we all have our favorite traditions and each one is different. Does everyone in your home have favorite taco night tradition, as well? Around our table, everyone has their own way of building the perfect taco.

Most of my family prefers soft tacos. Charlie usually adds sour cream, and sometimes David does too. Junior skips the sour cream altogether. As for me, I’ve always been the odd one out. I enjoy crunchy beef tacos, but my all-time favorite is a ground beef puff taco topped with nothing more than seasoned beef, shredded cheese, and just a tad bit of lettuce.

Recently, I came across something called Crunchy Fluff Tacos. I’d never heard of them before, and neither had anyone else in my family. That immediately made me curious. What makes them different? Are they really fluffier than a regular crunchy taco? Could they become a new Taco Tuesday favorite?

After reading about them, I learned that the idea is to cook the seasoned ground beef so it stays tender and juicy, giving every bite a lighter, softer texture while still enjoying the crunch of a taco shell. It sounded interesting enough that I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Since Charlie has a day off next week, we’ve decided that’s when we’re going to give them a try together. It’ll be our first time making them, and we’ll share the results right here on the blog. Whether they become a new family tradition or we decide to stick with our usual tacos, you’ll get our honest opinions.

If you’re looking for a fun way to change up Taco Tuesday, why not join us? Make a batch at home, gather your family around the table, and let’s compare notes next week.
