8 PM — WINE/WHYNE HOUR
I don’t know about in your home but by 8pm David is in bed. Gerald is stretched out on the couch like he owns it. Charlie is in his room finishing dinner gaming and either waiting to get a bath, preparing for bed or waiting on Bradley. At times Charlie is doing all three.
I’m in my room getting ready to sit down and watch Physic and Rockford Files playing games and doing surveys on Swagbucks. Praying to the LORD that a survey answers my responses so I can make a few points to boost my winnings.
8 PM is supposed to be my hour. My $5 wine. My blanket. My Psych or Rockford Files. My breath. But David wants to sleep. C is gaming loud. The dogs are pacing. Life is loud. So, the wine becomes a whyne. As I try and become comfortable so I can sleep and not wake David up or disturb Charlie.
