I remember as a child my dad keeping cans of Sardines in metal cans in our pantry. Back then I would eat Sardines but if you tried to feed them to me now I would pass. I honestly don’t know anyone who eats Sardines. Do you? I’ve even heard people eating Sardines with Mustard. Don’t that sound horrible?

Let’s celebrate November 24 National Sardines Day #NationalSardinesDay in memory of my dad and my friend Ted who was like a dad to me as well and was my best friend Richard’s dad. Or for anyone you know who likes Sardines.

November 24 is National Sardines Day — a quirky food holiday that celebrates Sardines a tiny flavorful fish! Or are they?
