The Shack by Wm Paul Young (2008-07-17)

My family and my sister Debbie went to visit Lisa Marie Bird and our Cousin Larry Stewart last night. While at there house Lisa had me check out her book stash. She handed me The Shack by Wm Paul Young (2008-07-17) and said this is a book I must read.

This week I will be sitting down to read The Shack and if I don’t finish The Shack before Wednesday I will be taking it on our Road Trip this week. This is the find time I would have read a book by Wm Paul Young . Have you read his book? If so what did you think of the book and why?

About:

When Mackenzie Allen Phillips’s youngest daughter Missy is abducted during a family vacation, he remains hopeful that she’ll return home. But then, he discovers evidence that she may have been brutally murdered in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness.

Four years later, in this midst of his great sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note that’s supposedly from God, inviting him back to that Shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment, he arrives on a Wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change his life forever.

About the author: Wm Paul Young

Born to the politeness of the Midwest (specifically Milwaukee, WI) Young is the Gen Y humorist waiting in the wings of the comedy called life. He received his B.A. from Columbia (Chicago) in Comedy Writing & Performance. In Chicago, he briefly produced sketch shows (Blackingout and the Donkey Show) at Second City.

Now, Young writes and loves in his home State where his optimistic observations get skewed by his satirical cognition.
