50 Ocean Books and Unit Study Resources

In the Summer we live at the Pool or Water Parks so with Charlie going to be still attending school. I wanted to make it fun. So we came up with the Stop! Drop! & Read! The challenge.

I’ve been looking for ways to make it more fun and to find resources we can use with the classes we will be taking. So today as I was online I found another Homeschool Blog we will be following this Summer. She has a list of books about the Ocean.

I would like to invite you to check out Embark On The Journey and once on the site check out the article she has written for us, and it is 50 Ocean Books and Unit Study Resources.

Not every book comes with a Unit Study, but the ones that did come with Unit Studies Charlie and I will be doing.  My goal is for Charlie to read all 50 books between now and the end of 3rd grade. If he puts his mind to it, I know he can do it.

Make sure you stop by Embark On The Journey and check out all the other Homeschool articles she has for us. As I can’t wait to get my calendar out and to mark down the Holidays as she has a section called Homeschool Through The Year for next year and to print the resources, she has for us to use.

With all of her help I, know Charlies school year will be a success. These resources will make teaching Charlie so much easier because I will not have to hunt for items to teach Charlie.
