January 20th, 2024 Photo of the Day #PhotooftheDay Challenge

Welcome to our prompt for January 20th, 2024 #PictureoftheDay Challenge. Do you have anything from your childhood if so share a picture of it. I wish I could say I did but after all the fires I lived through as a child most of my stuff was lost and never replaced. Then I was going to ask David if he had anything from his childhood he would like to share and I knew he didn’t because his ex-wife threw all of his stuff away.

Looking through the house I knew Charlie had stuff from when he was little and I asked if he had something special he would like to share and Charlie said no. I decided I would share two stuffed animals that meant the most to Suzzane. Squealer her Pig I bought her from a friends antique store.

As well as Monkey Sue a Monkey I bought Suzzie and at the Oklahoma City Zoo. If you touch the top of Monkey Sue’s head it feels sticky but its the tears I cried the night she passed away. No, matter how many places David and I’ve moved and I’ve tried to get rid of the animals David always keeps them were I can get to them anytime I want to see or touch them. Which is why there sitting on my bookshelf in the living room.
