January 11th, 2024 Color of the Day Challenge #ColoroftheDay Challenge: Pink

Welcome to our #ColoroftheDay Challenge: Pink. Did you know pink was Suzzie’s favorite color? I like to believe she is the only Angel in Heaven in pink. In our home there are all different things that are pink. Especially things I have in memory of Suzzane I found a Flamingo Garden Flag at one of the stores David and I shop at which most likely would have been Walmart.

The garden flag was purchased to hang off the upstairs balcony but were always switching the flags out. I didn’t want to put this one in a tote to be forgotten about because it reminds me of the first time I tool Suzzie to the Zoo by myself. While we were at the Zoo I let Suzane pick out a stuffed animal in the Gift Shop and she . Suzzane choose a pink Flamingo because she liked her eyelashes.

Having the Flamingo Flag hanging in the dinning room by the kitchen table makes it feel like Suzzie is with us when we sit down to dinner. Before I go Charlie wanted me to remind you this flag is also a light purple which is my favorite color with the Pink Flamingos and a saying both Charlie and I love a lot.
