I sat down to read this book and quickly realized it was a book I needed to share with Daid to help us prepare for the future. We would sit down in the evening and read a chapter or two and discuss what we learned. A couple times Charlie would walk up and listen to the chapters and even added his two sense which was great as Charlie will be graduating soon and moving out. Having a copy of How To Thrive In A Recession “you Vs. You” will help Charlie be prepared for his future.

I love how the Author begin by touching on mental health and explaining what it is which all of us need to know because more and more of us suffer from mental health problems like depression. There was a chapter on depression which when reading the chapter I felt like the author was sitting across the table from me explaining what is going on with Charlie and I.

I learned about pain disorders which I’m just begin to experience and found out I’m not crazy and I wasn’t just imagining things. David is a Alcoholic and there is a chapter on it which allowed David to share his story with Charlie bringing them closer together. There is so much more in this book that it makes it a must have for everyone no, matter there age or what there going through.
