Read Around the USA
Read Around the USA is a event I had joined at the beginning of the year to show Charlie I would read every day. Then life got in the way and even though I’ve been reading off and one I wasn’t doing the challenge. This morning I decided being September I was going to jump back in with both feet and I’m even going to start in January and try and read 12 books before the end of the year.
Read Around the USA
For September, we’re doing something a bit different and instead of focusing on individual states, we’re looking at journey’s across state lines. This means you have a wide variety of book options from light road trips to non-fiction and historical fiction about events in US History.
I choose to read The Art of Racing in the Rain Garth Stein and Ratpack Confidential by Shawn Levy. Charlie can read with me for his Homeschool Music Class.
Then Charlie and I can look through books set in 1970’s Decade for our Homeschool Reading Class allowing Charlie to learn about things he never had the opportunity to witness. Then for me time I will be checking out this list Perfectly Cozy Fall Romance Books & Rom Coms for books to read after everyone goes to bed.
