Pepper Pot
Granny Sherry went to a Garage Sale this weekend and picked up a box of books. Inside the box was Pepper Pot by Barbara Clayton. The cover of the book has a cute little girl on the cover. As soon as I saw that I knew this might be a book Charlie wouldn’t be interested in. If Suzzane had been here, Suzzane would have checked out the back of the book to see what the story was about.
I opened the cover of the book was drawn in from the first when the Author mentions Paris which Suzzane and I would have liked to visit. I love how the book touches on handicap children and in the book the sister doesn’t speak, and she is called Angel which reminded me of Suzzane. Who is an Angel in Heaven.
I hope you take the time to check out Pepper Pot as soon as you can because I can see both boys and girls enjoying this story as well as adults. Not only that there is a lot to learn in this book which should be in every school library. I always love learning about other books the Author has written, and they included a list on the back of the book saving me time from searching to see what the Author has written.
