As we were leaving I found a shelf of books donated to the Friends of the Library we could purchase for a nominal fee. I began to look. I found Debbie Macomber The Shop on Blossom Street. I looked at the sign and saw hardback books were only $1 which is dirt cheap for a Debbie Macomber hard-back book. I asked David for the money. I purchased The Shop on Blossom Street and Back On Blossom Street. I wish they had other books because I would have purchase them…

International Peace Day– always observed on September 21st International Peace Day, a September 21 holiday, seeks a global cessation of violence and war. Each year on this day, celebrations are held in hundreds of countries, all with the same goal in mind….to stop war and violence. Created and sponsored by the United Nations, this day seeks to end the war, starting today. The United Nations goal for this day is “a day of non-violence and cease-fire”.
