This morning I would like to share a Entrepreneur with you. Madam C.J. Walker created specialized hair products for African American hair care. Not only that C/J/ Walker was one of the first American women to become a self-made millionaire. She created these products after losing her own hair to a Scalp Ailment that caused her to go bald. After creating the products she traveled around the giving lecture-demonstrations. Madame C.J. Walker created Laboratories to manufacture cosmetics and train sales beauticians. She donated money toward the construction of an Indianapolis YMCA in 1913 Walker’s life was portrayed in the 2020 TV show Self Made, with Octavia Spencer portraying Walker. Before you ask…
