Black History Month: Marilyn Allman Maye
This is a review for a new novel called Seven Sisters and a Brother: Friendship, Resistance, and Untold Truths Behind Black Student Activism in the 1960s published by Marilyn Allman Maye. Charlie and I will be reading this book for Black History Month. As well as studying the Author for our Homeschool Language Arts Class. I can’t wait to remind Charlie how they held a sit-in accomplishing there goals in Peace. We will be able to discuss how Black Studies curriculum came into play.
