13 Days to the First Day of School Breakfast Countdown

Good morning, friends. How are you this morning I would like to welcome to a brand-new series here on our new site, Greatful Moments. I’m so glad you stopped by and decided to spend a little time with me today. With only 13 days until school begins for a lot of family I wanted to wish you a wonderful fun filled weekend as we begin this new series to help you prepare breakfast for your family.

As we begin this new journey together, I wanted the first series on Greatful Moments to be something special. Something that celebrates family, memories, and the little moments that often mean the most. Today, I’m excited to introduce you to our 13 Days to the First Day of School Breakfast Countdown.

This series is all about helping families prepare for a new school year with simple, quick, and easy breakfast ideas that everyone can enjoy. Whether you have little ones heading off to their very first day of school, teenagers getting ready for another year, or you are simply looking for easier mornings, I hope this series brings a little encouragement and inspiration into your home. Besides recipes we will have free printables all families will need throughout the school year and beyond.

I know most of you know, my son Charlie has already graduated from high school, but that does not mean I no longer enjoy sharing back-to-school ideas with you. I still have nieces and nephews who are getting ready for a new school year, and I know how exciting, busy, and sometimes overwhelming this season can be for families.

A new school year brings so many emotions. There is excitement about seeing friends again. There are new teachers to meet. There are supplies to organize, schedules to learn, and routines to get back into. And for parents, there is always that hope and prayer that this year will be a wonderful one for their children.

My hope is that this school year brings teachers the encouragement they need, students the confidence they need, and families many special moments together. But one thing I believe is important for every family, whether your children are in school or grown, is starting the day with a good breakfast.

From the time I was a child I remember people always saying breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I truly believe there is something special about sitting down together, even if it is only for a few minutes, before everyone heads out the door. I hope these recipes brings your family closer together.

Breakfast does not have to be complicated. It does not have to cost a lot of money. Sometimes the simplest meals become the ones our families request again and again. A warm muffin. A bowl of oatmeal. A breakfast casserole made the night before. A smoothie on a busy morning. A meal prepared with love. Those are the moments that become memories.

Over the next 13 days, my family will be sharing breakfast recipes, printable recipe cards, make-ahead tips, budget-friendly ideas, and little ways to make your mornings feel special. My hope is that you will find recipes your family loves and ideas that make your mornings just a little easier. Because here at Greatful Moments, I believe life is made up of small blessings.

The conversations around the table. The laughter in the kitchen. The traditions we create. The meals we share. Those are the moments we remember. So grab your favorite beverage, pull up a chair, and join me as we count down to a new school year with simple breakfasts and meaningful moments.

I’m so thankful you are here. Welcome to Greatful Moments where we are Grateful, Thankful, and Blessed.
